At Solid, we call ourselves, “a new breed of personal trainer.” As our healthcare system continues to become more of a disease care system, we feel it’s our job to provide you with the tools and confidence to take charge of your own preventative health. We take a multi-dimensional approach to coaching and educating on a wide range of health and wellness topics.

At our classes in the park, we’ll be focusing on mobilizing your amazing, yet physically taxed mommy bodies. Mobility is defined as, “the ability to be moved freely and easily.” Most of us never know how freely and easily we could be moving until we’re shown how to loosen our muscles and joints. Yes, flexibly is a part of mobility, but the work we’ll be coaching you on goes above and beyond any stretching you’ve ever done. After just one class you’ll feel lighter, less stressed, and more energetic. You’ll even notice the beginnings of pain reduction if you deal with any type of soreness or discomfort in your lower back, hips, knees, wrists or shoulders.

You’ll mostly be on your mat as we guide you through equipment and non-equipment based techniques. All you need is a yoga mat, a water bottle, and any type of lightweight, long sleeve garment to tie around your waist during breath work. Diaphragmatic breathing will be a huge part of class, as breathing correctly is essential in releasing physical, mental, and emotional tension.
